My office is where the buck stops because I am the broker. That means if anything goes wrong, it’s my job to fix it. Fortunately, my wife Kathy and I have been able to assemble the excellent staff that we have today, and all I usually have to do is sit around, drink coffee, and look intelligent. But seriously folks, I don’t take the responsibility of handling your real estate needs lightly. Along those lines, I believe that nothing takes the place of education and experience.
My experience includes over 33 years in real estate, covering all aspects of the residential, farm and ranch, and commercial business. I have a good working knowledge of West Texas and the Texas Hill Country. This would include most of the cities and communities located in those areas.
I preach the values of education to each of the agents associated with me, and I practice what I preach. Accordingly, I hold the GRI designation from the Texas Association of Realtors, The GAA designation from the National Association of Realtors, and the SRA and MAI designations from the Appraisal Institute. To date, I have taken and passed every appraisal course offered by the Appraisal Institute, and many that are offered by the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. I also teach a residential appraisal course at the San Antonio Board of Realtors from time to time.
Together, my wife Kathy and I have seven children. Can you understand our need to sell real estate? You can help. Call me or one of the agents today. We’ll get you involved in the opportunity of a life time, and maybe I’ll get some relief.

I came to the small community of Leakey when I was just 5yrs. old. My mother’s family settled near here in the Reagan Wells area in the early 1900’s. I was raised on a large exotic ranch, called “The Rose Ranch” and fell in love with the beautiful hill country, the Frio River and many home town friends I will cherish forever. Every day was an adventure, learning new deer trails up the mountains, finding salamanders, crawdads, & tadpoles in the creek, and finishing every summer day with a dip in the natural swimming hole near the fishing lake. What a life!
After spending 11 years in the Leakey ISD Special Education Department as a teacher’s aide and driving the school bus, I decided to continue my college education by going to night school at Uvalde Jr. College and Sul Ross State University Rio Grande College. I married my best friend, Dub Suttle in 2001, and we opened Suttle and Company Real Estate in January of 2003 and received my broker’s license in 2013. I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience of the hill country with you and I understand when you tell me your reasons to want to look for that perfect property in this beautiful Texas hill country. It doesn’t matter how many times I show a property, I seem to find something special each time and I never get tired of the scenery.
I manage the real estate office, co-Broker with my husband, Dub, and whenever the opportunity comes, I enjoy showing properties. I hold the GRI designation certificate which is awarded to REALTORS® through the Texas Association of REALTORS® by the National Association of REALTORS. I also hold the CNE(Certified Negotiation Expert) designation and a member of RLI( Realtors Land Institute) all of which increases my knowledge base & enhances my professional stature to better serve you, the client.
We both have children and together we enjoy all seven along with their spouses as well as the combined 13 grandchildren & one on the way! When we are not spending time with real estate or family, we love to travel, garden, listen to old & true country & western music and cherish our “quiet time” at our home in the Frio Canyon hill country.

Being raised in a small Texas town was certainly an amazing childhood where everyone really does know your name. Hence, I am and have loved being a small-town girl! Johnson City is where I got my start in the workforce. During high school, I had an amazing opportunity to work for the City of Johnson City where I worked my way up from part time help to Assistant City Secretary/Court Clerk and the staff became my second family. During the summer of 1996, at the famous small town Fourth of July Leakey Jubilee, I met the love of my life thanks to a mutual friend. As they say, the rest is history and my love for Leakey began. In May of 2001, I married the love of my life and within months, we were moving back to his home town of Leakey, where it all began.
Throwing caution to the wind, we started our family owned and operated water well drilling business and began raising our two beautiful children in the picturesque and peaceful Leakey area, which has truly been a blessing for our family. On this journey, I had the privilege of working for the Real County Appraisal District until our daughter was born in 2006. Then I had the amazing opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom, along with helping my husband with our water well drilling business.
Now that our children are high school students at Leakey ISD, their schedules keep them busy and I have decided to pursue a career as a Real Estate Agent. My work experience with local government, school districts, the appraisal district and owning our own business has prepared me well for having a thorough understanding of real estate and helping others find properties that meet their desires.
I am a member of Leakey United Methodist Church and am actively involved in our school and community. I look forward to helping you make Leakey or surrounding areas your place to call home or pursue business opportunities. I am confident your love for the area will become complete upon your purchase of real estate, as it has for my family. Don’t wait any longer to find your Heaven on earth. It’s a perfect place to call home.
My wife Linette and I traveled across Arizona, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas with my job as a Luby’s Cafeteria manager. Both of our children Bailey – 28, and Wyatt – 24, were born during this time. After 10 years our hearts pulled us back to the Hill Country and our hometown of Boerne. I then became a supervisor for Southwest Airlines where I spent the next 19 years. When I retired in 2019 we had the opportunity to relocate to the Concan / Leakey area. We jumped at the chance and now own some rentals on the Frio known as El Zocalo. The beauty and tranquility of the area is unparalleled.
This is one of the reasons I have started my second career in real estate with the professionals at Suttle and Company Real Estate. My goal is to provide unparalleled service to you. Whether you are looking to relocate, or own a small piece of the Frio paradise, I can help achieve your dreams. Be it a small cabin on the Frio, or a large ranch in the hills, we can find what you are looking for.
Reach out to me and let me help you find your little piece of paradise that is just right for you. I look forward to meeting, and working with you.
I married my husband of 38 years, Bill Kennedy Jr. Shortly after getting married, we moved to Uvalde for 10 years. During this time, we were blessed with 2 daughters which have now given us two wonderful sons in laws and 5 precious grandchildren. My husband’s job moved us to the Houston area for the next 20 years where I taught elementary school then owned and operated a couple of successful businesses. Upon retirement, we made the move back to the beautiful hill country where we had purchased our vacation/retirement home.
After teaching school for 18 years and owning my own business, I found myself not ready to slow down. I volunteer with the Real County Public library and am involved with teaching in the two-four yr. old class at our home church, Living Waters Church in Utopia, Tx.
I recently decided to begin my next career and started taking courses to get my real estate license. I have partnered with Dub Suttle Real Estate Company and am proud to be called a Real Estate Associate. I am excited about having the opportunity to work alongside someone with such a broad range of knowledge in this field.
My vision statement is to be the best realtor I can possibly be. My promise to you is to be dedicated, honest, trust-worthy, loyal and will always have your best interest at heart.
Whether you’re thinking about selling your property, or the possibility of purchasing a home, give me a call and I’ll be committed to helping you through the process!
